Mild Avocado Dressing

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1/4 cup flax seed oil (60 mL)
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger or freshly grated (1 mL)
  • 1/8 tsp. paprika (1 mL)
  • 1 tsp. cider vinegar or lemon juice (5 mL)
  • 1 tsp. marjoram (5 mL)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Ground pepper to taste

Preparation:

  • Toss all ingredients into a blender and process until Well blended.
  • Try to use all the dressing, or cut the recipe in half, as the avocado will turn color if left too long in the refrigerator.

Makes about 1/2 cup (125 mL)
